These posters were created in celebration of Frank Herbert’s landmark sci-fi “Dune” series. They offer a conceptual window into the universe and are an artistic exploration of color, form, and figure / ground relationships.

INMAR INTELLIGENCE
The Story
Inmar Intelligence is a 5,500+ person data and tech-enabled services company based in North Carolina. As global Creative Director for the company, I led a full visual rebrand of the organization — retooling everything from the brand identity itself, to overall look and feel, to all applications and assets and brand expression.
I personally created the logo, wordmark, developed the overall style, codified the brand standards, and crafted selected pieces for relaunch including major storytelling pieces. I even painted the fine art pieces below personally. There is no way I could have achieved this overall result without the rockstar input of an incredible team. Special thanks to the Inmar Creative team for their hard work and careful execution!
I’m only showing a very small sampling of the work here to tell the story, but this was a Herculean task and the process took over a year and a half to launch.

The Story
Swizl is the spirits, wine and beer lover’s one-stop shop for awesome product inspiration, delicious mixology ideas, and cash-back on the brands they love. Welcome to the party!
I personally created the logo, codified the brand standards, directed the UX / UI process and crafted selected pieces for the brand. The Swizl creatives on my team were incredible and I am very proud to showcase the work we created together!

THE YAKK NETWORK
The Story
I act as the Creative Director / sole designer for a podcasting group I started with three awesome gents here in Austin. It’s just a fun nights-and-weekends thing, but it’s thriving and it’s also fun opportunity for me to craft a brand and creative assets outside of a traditional client / stakeholder relationship.
From the identity and style to the brand standards to the expression of that brand in digital assets and audio / video applications, this is all me, with no team support. Fun!

WHOLE FOODS MARKET
The Story
Whole Foods Market needs no introduction. They defined heathy shopping for the marketplace and paved the way for organics, boutique food discovery and groundbreaking food venues in a stagnant quadrant. As Global Digital Creative Director for the company, I led several key initiatives, including development of the brand’s first centralized ordering experience, digital support for WFM’s first-ever advertising campaign throughout owned channels, the branding and creation of a new Wine Club (offering transactional processing and shipping), early-adopter exploration into Instacart and many more.
I am showcasing the work I personally created by my own hand here. As always, the support of my UX / UI team was intrinsic in these successes!

STL SYMPHONY
The Story
While leading the creative charge at UPBrand, I had the great fortune to work with the STL Symphony as a client partner. We were able to create some groundbreaking work on their behalf. Work that was a ton of fun to create, was incredibly effective, and ended up in the awards shows.
A good share of this work was output I personally created myself. I directed the video work from shoot to edit and provided direct motion graphics support. A huge thank you to the video shooting and editing crews!

The Story
I was the Vice President / Creative Director at 4ORCE Digital. It was one of the most fruitful creative times of my career. I wanted to feature the brand work I created for the agency itself on this portfolio because it makes for a great case study.
This was work I personally created myself. I literally created everything in service of this agency. A ton of fun! I wanted to give a big shout out to Dan Curran who’s partnership and open mind, made this work possible. I also want to put a fist in the air for my former 4ORCE creative team! I miss you all.

The Story
In my past, across multiple agencies, I created several initiatives for beer giant Anheuser-Busch. The great thing about clients like this can be summed up in two things :: 1) their desire to do genuinely interesting work… and 2) their fearlessness. It’s a perfect environment for a creative to play in.
